From Books to Games: A New Creative Journey for Hongleebooks
Hongleebooks Game Journey
From Books to Games:
A New Creative Journey
We began with stories on the page. Now, we are taking those stories into small, playful worlds that people can move, touch, and experience.
Hello,
this is Hongleebooks.
Until now, Hongleebooks has mainly focused on books, stories, picture books, and educational content. We have always believed that a small idea can become a meaningful story, and that even a simple character can stay in someone’s memory.
Recently, we have begun exploring a new creative path.
A book tells a story through words and images. A game allows the player to move, choose, fail, try again, and experience the story in their own way.
To us, games are not separate from storytelling. They are another form of it.
A game can have characters, atmosphere, humor, tension, growth, and emotion. It can also create small moments that stay with the player long after the screen is closed.
That is why Hongleebooks is now taking its first steps into game creation.
01
What Kind of Games Do We Want to Make?
We are not trying to create huge, complicated games from the beginning.
Instead, we want to make small games with clear ideas, memorable moments, and a sense of personality.
Simple rules that anyone can understand quickly.
Games that can be enjoyed even in a few minutes.
Characters with personality, humor, and charm.
Small challenges that make players want to try again.
We believe a game does not need to be massive to be meaningful. Even a short casual game can bring a smile, a challenge, or a fun little surprise.
What matters most to us is the feeling the player takes away.
If someone plays one of our games and remembers a funny character, a satisfying moment, or a scene they want to share, then that game has done something valuable.

Our First Challenge
Our first mobile game, inspired by streaming and online broadcast culture.
We recently released our first mobile game.
It is a casual game inspired by streaming and online broadcast culture. In the game, the player runs a virtual stream, collects points, gains viewers and subscribers, and tries to handle different situations that happen during the broadcast.
It is designed to be light and easy to play, but we also included elements such as growth, choice, stress management, and different broadcast modes.
Releasing our first game taught us many things.
Screen layout, character reactions, reward balance, ads, player feedback, and the real source of fun all became part of our learning process.
Creating a game was very different from making a book. A book is carefully shaped and then delivered to the reader. A game, however, must respond to the player. It needs timing, movement, feedback, balance, and interaction.
Through this first project, we learned that game creation is also a kind of storytelling — but one that the player completes through action.
Our first game is not the end of a project. It is the beginning of a new direction.

Our Next Game Idea
A future casual game idea featuring cute animals, movement, bouncing, and playful physics.
After releasing our first mobile game, we have already started thinking about the next one.
For our next project, we are imagining a lighthearted casual game featuring animals, movement, and playful physics.
The basic idea is simple.
Cute animal characters fly through the air, bounce when they land, and try to travel as far as possible.
The fun comes from small details.
How the character flies into the air.
The funny movement while flying.
The moment it hits the ground and jumps again.
That unexpected extra distance.
At first, the animal may only travel a short distance. But little by little, through upgrades, timing, and lucky rebounds, it can go farther and farther.
“Maybe this time, it will go even farther.”
We want to create a game where players naturally think that and try again.
For this next game, we want to focus more on animation and expression. The characters should feel lively. Their movements should be fun to watch. Falling, bouncing, rolling, and flying again should all become part of the enjoyment.
It will be a small game, but we hope it can have a cheerful and memorable feeling.

Connecting Games, YouTube, and the Blog
From now on, we plan to share more of our game creation process through both this blog and YouTube.
On the Blog
We will write about ideas, development notes, design thoughts, and behind-the-scenes progress.
On YouTube
We hope to show short videos of gameplay, character movements, development updates, and small moments from our games.
We do not want to show only the finished result. We also want to share the process.
Where did the idea begin?
What changed during development?
What was difficult to make?
What kind of scene were we trying to create?
These small records may become useful for other creators, and they may also become part of our own creative journey.
For us, making games is not only about publishing an app. It is about building small worlds, one idea at a time.
Thank You for Joining Us
Hongleebooks began with books, but our imagination does not have to stay on the page.
Stories can become picture books.
Characters can become animations.
Ideas can become games.
And small creative attempts can become something bigger over time.
We are still learning. We are still experimenting. But we want to keep creating.
More games are coming.
And this is only the beginning.
